Recently I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with two Canadians who were in Haiti when the devastating earthquake of 12 January 2010 struck Port-au-Prince. Lisa Weber and her son Jamie Dowsett of Waterloo, Ontario were in a small village roughly 35 kilometres from Port-au-Prince when it happened. They were with a group of 56 Canadians from the Mission of Hope.
