Project details
FLOOR 89 is an inspirational project created by Dean Bere focusing on youth and beauty. With the tagline “lives and aspirations and insecurities and ideas”, it features a variety of content frequently in the form of photo sets, mysterious interactions and written word. I approached this project from a unique angle, designing a rich backdrop with easy-to-use yet unconventional navigation. I chose large sans-serif fonts for most text on the site, and implemented some unobtrusive Javascript effects to smooth the overall atmosphere and flow through the site to make navigation as comfortable as possible.
